The Royal Canadian Mint is proud to announce the Alberta Centennial 25-cent Coin. For the first time in its history, the Royal Canadian Mint offered the public an opportunity to vote for a coin design. Selections were commissioned by the Government of Alberta, and then chosen byCanadians. Specially packaged in this limited edition cover, this 25-cent piece was minted on the first day of production, April 25, 2005.
