Description
Amidst the frozen ruins of an ancient city, wizards battle in the hopes of discovering the treasures of a fallen empire. In this fantasyskirmish wargame, each player takes on the role of a wizard from one of ten schools of magic, and builds his band of followers. The wizard's apprentice will usually accompany his master, and more than a dozen other henchman types are available for hire, from lowly thugs to heavily armoured knights and stealthy thieves. Wizards can expand theirmagical knowledge by unlocking ancient secrets and may learn up to 80different spells. While individual games of Frostgrave are quick and can easily be played in an hour or two, it is by connecting them into an ongoing campaign that players will find the most enjoyment. The scenarios given in the book are merely the beginning of the limitless adventures that can be found amidst the ruins of the Frozen City.

| Miniature RPG Game all in one | |
| The best part of Frostgrave isn't the rule set, gameplay or colorful pictures. NO! It's the fact that the game is miniatures agnostic. This means that you can buy/print and paint any miniatures you want and have them represented on the game board. You aren't locked into a miniatures company and it allows for extreme creativity. The game also offers the opportunity to purchase miniatures from it's own range. In Frost Grave you create a band (skirmish size) of casters and minions. Your main characters are very customizable and allow for almost infinite combinations. Do you want to be a necromancer and summon legions of Undead? Fine. Do you want to be a devastating fire mage and leave smoldering craters where undead once were? Even better. This game has something for everyone. It's like playing a miniatures game - while running your own RPG party. Great game! Highly recommend. |

| Le livre qui dit tout et débute le tout. Bien écrit bonne explication des règles. Donne des scénarios de départ avec des idées de paysage à utiliser. Décrit les personnages que l'on pourra utiliser, les monstres et donne une bonne idée de la possibilité des choses dont on peut faire et développer au long de notre immersion avec les autres livres de la série. | |
