The Sugar Shack
For young and old, the sugar shack experience is the earliest rite of spring in eastern and central Canada, and is embedded in our nation’s cultural fabric. Whether it’s the sweet scent of the boiling sap or the thrill ofa horse-pulled sleigh ride, maple syrup season is a true celebration of Canadian folklore and tradition in an old-time ambiance—as beautifully captured on the colourful reverse!

The first coin of the series, released in Febuary 2017, depicts the Dog Sledding under the Northern Lights.
The second coin of the series, released in March 2017, depicts the Sugar Shack.
The third coin of the series, released in April 2017, depicts the Spring Slightings.
The fourth coin of the series, who will be released in June 2017, will depicts the Beaver.
The fifth and the last coin of the series, who will be released in September 2017, will depicts the Autumn's palette.
