The Trouble with Tribbles
The reverse design recreates a key scene that has remained a fan favourite, even beyond the Star Trek community. Selective colour brings to life the engraved image of Captain James T. Kirk (portrayed by Canadian actor William Shatner) in his green Starfleet uniform. He stands half- buried in a pile of small, furry creatures known as Tribbles, which have fallen out of an overhead compartment.
This coin is the third issueof the 20$ Star Trek(TM) series.
The first coin of the series, released in August 2016, represents a key scene from the episode "The City on the Edge of Forever".
The second coin of the series, released in September 2016, represents a key scene from the episode "Mirror Mirror".
The third and thelast coin of the series, released in October 2016, represents a key scene from the episode "The Trouble With Tribbles".
