Description
Another Reiner Knizia standby, this game plays very wellwith varying numbers of people. The object is to accrue the most points during three rounds, which you do by spending your points to bid onsets of cards. Each turn the current player turns up one to three cards for all the players to bid on, with the highest bid taking all cards. The cards denote a commodity type and quantity/value. The round ends when each player's ships are full, or the commodity card deck isexhausted. After each round, points are awarded to each player havingthe most of a given commodity, and to the one with the most valuable total "cargo load".

| Des enchères, des enchères et encore plus d'enchères! | |
| Medici fait partie de la fameuse lignée de jeux d'enchères du célèbre docteur des jeux, Reiner Knizia, comme Modern Art et Ra. Des biens sont mis en enchères à chaque journée du jeu et les joueurs peuvent miser des florins (mise unique) afin de se mériter le ou les biens en question. Attention toutefois car les florins sont également des points de victoire alors il faut toujours se demander si la mise en vaut la chandelle. Comme nous n'avons qu'une seule mise pour remporter des biens que nous désirons parfois ardemment, les choix sont déchirants et peuvent mener à des réactions vives autour de la table quand quelqu'un nous vole les biens que nous voulions désespérément. Un autre classique du bon docteur même si je préfère personellement les deux autres jeux mentionnés plus haut. | |
