| Très jolie premier TP pour cette série aux allures Steampunk. Les dessins sont bien mais c'est vraiment l'histoire ici qui accroche le lecteur. Je vais me procurer la suite sans faute. | |

| J’allais à l’imaginaire sans but précis cette journée. Le hasard m’a attiré vers cette série, Monstress. J’ai tout de suite été captivé par le titre et le style de dessin de la couverture. Mi-steampunk, mi-gothique. Ça n’a pas pris de temps que j’ai dévoré ma lecture. Une héroïne un peu grognon qui n’en a rien à faire de beaucoup de chose. L’anti-héroïne parfaite. Un destin qu’elle porte en elle avec une bête dont on ignore la provenance. La structure de l’histoire et l’intrigue sont parfaites, bien ficelées. Du début jusqu’à la fin l’auteur sait nous tenir en haleine. On ignore un peu ce qui se passe. L’histoire évolue. Et quoiqu’il y ait de la violence, ça n’enlève rien à la beauté de l’oeuvre. Puis la fin est surprenante. Elle nous laisse sur notre faim pour plus. Je recommande à tous ceux qui comprennent l’anglais. | |
