Description
Freedom - The Underground Railroad is a challenging cooperative game pitting the players against the institution of slavery during the early 1800's thru the Civil War.
Players work together for the Abolitionist cause, raising funds and helping slaves as they move from the Southern States to freedom in Canada. But every move risks alerting the slave carchers, who roam the board trying to return the runaway slaves back to the plantations.

| Un jeu historique et bouleversant. | |
| Un super jeu simple et complexe à la fois. Pas évident de prévoir car beaucoup de variables difficile à contrôler. Sans être full random c’est tout de même hasardueux et tu dois choisir judicieusement si tu t’en occupe ou pas. Les composant sont vraiment basique mais qu moins elles son en bois. Les esclaves sont des cubes en bois et les chasseurs d’esclaves des formes géométrique en bois. Les cartes sont belle masi aurait été mieux si elle avait un art plus complet et le jettons en cartons sont assez épais, mais drab à l’os. Donc comme je l’ai dit, c,est pas sur l’apparence que ce jeu s’affiche, mais pas son thème. Un theme altruiste et profond, une période de l’humanité qu’il ne faut pas oublier mais qui choque, car toutes les cartes ont du flavour text décrivant la réalité de cette époque. Juste la carte du président John C Calhoon qui dit que l’esclavage n’est pas un mal nécessaire et que c’est correcte, penser que l’homme a réellement partagé, m’a donner des frisson d’effrois. Un jeu a valeure historique où le but est pas de tuer mais de libéré. J’ai trouvé ce jeu rafraichissant et vraiment bon, une belle surprise, même si je m’attendais à aimer ça. Un vieux jeu en plus, il date de 2013 (oui dans le board gaming 5 ans c’est long, 7 encore plus) et il vieilli vraiment bien. Je vous recommande de l’essayer. Un jeu historique comme il ne s'en fait pas assez. |
