Description
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s novella about an Antarctic expedition ravaged by inhuman, prehistoric creatures, this expansion allows you to trace the doomed expedition’s path and enter the immense City of the Elder Things. What happens in Antarctica has worldwide repercussions – freshly-awakened horrors are spreading across theglobe. Monsters and mysteries are surfacing in areas long considered safe.
Eight investigators offer you new roles to play as youconfront these chilling, inhuman threats. Numerous additional Assets,Spells, Artifacts and Conditions may help investigators or harm them,and for the first time, Adventures and Prelude cards shape the international struggle against the Ancient Ones. Do you have the strength tosurvive Antarctica’s frozen wastes, encounter the Mountains of Madness, and stave off the end of human civilization?
This is not a standalone game. A copy of Eldritch Horror is required to play.
To fully protect your game and insure it will have a long life, you will need five 56x87mm and three 41x63mm card sleeves.

| A wish come true | |
| Recently, I was wondering about the (real) Antarctica continent, what is there and what it could be hiding under this big pile of old ice and snow. I even looked up documentaries about it. What a surprise when I discovered that one of my favorite board game have and expansion about that specific theme! It was an instant hit: there's a side board where you actually go there, but in a "Cthulhu" setting... | |

| L'expansion "Mountains of Madness" fait plus qu'ajouter des monstres, personnages et scénario, elle rajoute l'antartique comme terrain où les joueurs peuvent aller explorer. La première (?) expansion à vraiment ajouter quelque chose de différent et de plus. Prenez garde que les scénarios qui utilisent cette expansion sont plus longs que les autres (qui sont déjà longs). Perdre une partie après 3h peut décourager certains! | |

| Cette expansion d'Eldritch Horror est hautement recommandée. Elle fournit un plateau de jeu supplémentaire qui est beaucoup plus intéressant que la minuscule case d'antarctique dans le jeu de base. Les investigateurs et cartes générales supplémentaires ajoutent également de la diversité à toutes les parties. | |
