Each player is the leader of a tribe of Vikings. Each of these leaders is tasked with the scouting and settling of undiscovered islands off the coast of the mainland.
Piece by piece, players expand their territory, anxious to occupy new islands with the Vikings of their tribe.
There are farms and churches that require building, many profitable settlements to construct, with Vikings of various talents ready to settle them.
However, your great fortune has not gone unnoticed. There are ships on the horizon that threaten your newly settled islands - they want what you have. You must deploy warriors to defend your people and their homes in order for your tribe to prosper and grow.
The acquisition and cost of new islands and Vikings is governed by the game board's clever rotating wheel. The prices of those islands and Vikings on offer will change as the wheel is turned, creating  a tense gaming experience that allows the players toprosper in surprising ways.
