Hark, friend! Let us... help... each other. We live in a time of altruism on Catan. We give away resources to help lagging players. We move the robber to isolated locations to ensure the safety of our fellows. We even go out of our way to connect our roads with our neighbors' networks. Has everyone gone nuts?
Ah! Thanks to their beneficence, Catan's guilds reward such noble-minded behavior by handing out "Favor Tokens" (FTs). Each guild helps us in different ways: granting us roads, development cards, random resources, preferential trades, or even Victory Points.
In Catan Scenarios: Frenemies, everyone is still just in it for themselvesas there is an ulterior motive for everything. In fact, sometimes youcan "help a friend" while making things far worse for them.
Sigh. If goodwill really exists, it's not part of this scenario...

| Catan Scenarios Frenemies is a great expansion that will freshen up your games of Settlers of Catan. This one makes for a unique and fun playing experience and adds a lot of replay value to the game. | |

| Friend or foe? | |
| A very interesting addition to the Catan universe. This will spice up interactions between players, as instead of promising "I will return the favour one day" when trading you will get direct bonuses, along with new ways to earn precious Victory Points. | |

| Petit scénario qui ajoute des tokens qu'on pige quand on fait 'prospérer' Catan au lieu de nuire à ses voisins. Par la suite on peut échanger ces tokens pour des ressources ou des cartes. Aide aussi à contrebalancer la malchance si nos chiffres ne sortent pas. | |
