Finally, success! Canadian John R Conno's invention of 1887 was one in a flurry of technological innovation that enabled this new generation of artist to capture a vast image on film - from 180 to full360 degrees!

Just like the early advenurers that had trekked hundreds miles and scaled colossal heights, photographers triumphed over Canda's seemingly unconquerable landscape, bringing a true sense of this stunning world to those who could not venture there - a vision that porpelled photography throughout the 20e century and reigns to this day.
